About the Coffee

This White Honey Pacamara comes from Finca Licho, one of the flagship farms operated by the Aguilera brothers in Costa Rica’s West Valley. With more than 60 years of coffee-growing heritage, the Aguilera family has built a reputation for producing precise, quality-driven microlots through thoughtful variety selection and careful processing. Their coffees frequently appear in the Costa Rica Cup of Excellence, reflecting a long-standing commitment to innovation and consistency.

The Pacamara variety — a hybrid of Pacas and Maragogipe — is known for its large bean size and its ability to express both clarity and depth when grown and processed with care.

Using the White Honey process, much of the coffee’s mucilage is left on the parchment during drying. This method preserves delicacy while enhancing natural sweetness, resulting in a cup that feels refined, structured and quietly expressive.
