About the Coffee
This naturally processed coffee comes from the Rwenzori Mountains in western Uganda and is exported by Kwezi Coffee, a company led by sisters Barbara Mugeni and Pamella Kampire. Raised on their family coffee farm, they grew up in a system where women played equal roles in farming, processing and decision-making — a philosophy that continues to shape their work today.
Kwezi focuses on building opportunities for women across Uganda’s coffee sector while producing coffees that express the character of the Rwenzori highlands.
Grown at high elevation and carefully processed as a natural, this lot develops a profile that is sweet, rounded and fruit-forward. Expect notes of ripe fruit and honeyed sweetness, layered with nuts, milk chocolate and soft cocoa.
